When must the aguinaldo (Christmas bonus) be paid?

By December 20 at the latest (art. 87 LFT). If you left the job during the year, the pro-rated portion is paid in your finiquito (final pay), without waiting until December.

Do you pay ISR (income tax) on the aguinaldo?

Only the part exceeding 30 UMA, the daily reference unit (~$3,519 in 2026); the prima vacacional (vacation premium) is exempt up to 15 UMA. The calculator separates the exempt and taxable portions for you.

How many vacation days am I entitled to?

Under the reform in force since 2023: 12 days the first year, +2 per year up to 20, and +2 every 5 years after that. The minimum prima vacacional (vacation premium) is 25% of the days you are entitled to.
